Our
store name is inspired by the 1984 movie of the same name, shot almost
entirely on site in India, starring Ben Cross and Amy Irving.
It’s a passionate story of Forbidden Love, set in the 1800's during the
revolution for India's freedom from Colonial Britain.
The film set in 19th century British colonial India, involved war battles,
love, treachery and intrigue as well as love and honor involving a romance
between a British cavalry officer and an Indian princess who has been
promised in an arranged marriage to a despotic ruler. |
